New Bordeaux service for Ryanair

Ryanair will open a new route from Edinburgh to Bordeaux a week before Christmas. The new route is part of a raft of new Ryanair routes from the French airport, including flights to Bologna, Brussels and Porto from December 17.
A spokesman for the airline said it hopes to roll out the destination to more UK airports, but this depended on taxes. It expects to carry 200,000 passengers to Bordeaux in the next year.
