Loganair / Flybe axe Inverness route

The daily Flybe badged flight between Edinburgh and Inverness operated by Loganair will end on Friday.
A spokesman for Loganair, who operate the route under a franchise contract with Flybe, stated competition from rail and road had caysed a ‘significant’ fall in numbers. Direct air services from Inverness to Manchester and Birmingham also mean passengers do not have to make use of Edinburgh for connections, he added.
