Fastest Burns supper at Edinburgh Airport Hilton

Passengers arriving at Edinburgh Airport are being offered what is being billed as the fastest' Burns supper in Scotland today. The Hilton Edinburgh Airport has created an express version of the traditional meal, in a bid to promote the traditional dish to visitors, including those short of time between flights.
The super-fast 15-minute supper includes haggis, turnip and mashed potato - as well as a 'wee dram' of whisky. Michael Squire, manager of the hotel, said: 'Robert Burns is a Scottish icon and we want to allow everyone visiting the country, no matter how brief their visit, the chance to raise a toast to the bard. Our head chef, Daniel Leah, will be going all out to make sure that everyone has time for a Burns supper.'
The express meal is being offered 12:00 - 15:00 and 18:00 - 22:00.
