Ryanair begins new base countdown

Ryanair has started a two-month countdown to the launch of a new base at Edinburgh Airport, the Scotsman reports.
From September 23, Europe's biggest budget airline will base two Boeing 737-800 aircraft at the hub, an investment of over $100m. It will serve 19 routes, carrying 1.2 million passengers a year to and from the Capital.
