Man arrested over people trafficking

A man was arrested at Edinburgh Airport in connection with an alleged mass people trafficking operation, the Scotsman reports. He is due to appear at the city's sheriff court today, facing charges under Section 25 of the Immigration Act 1971, relating to organising illegal entry into Britain.
Eighteen Bolivian nationals were also detained at the same time as the man at the airport on Friday night. All have now been deported back to Bolivia. A UK Border Agency spokesman said the arrests were linked to an incident at Aberdeen Airport on July 24 when 40 Bolivian nationals were refused permission to enter the UK.’
