Emergency landing for Ryanair flight
18.01.09
A Ryanair plane carrying 167 people was forced to divert to Edinburgh Airport yesterday over a problem with the cabin pressure system. The Boeing 737 flight from Dublin to Riga made the precautionary landing just before 14:00.
A spokesman for Edinburgh Airport said: ‘Ryanair is carrying out an investigation to find out what is wrong, but it was something minor with the cabin pressure. The captain categorised it as a precautionary diversion.’
