13.09.11
A holiday flight from Edinburgh to Turkey made an unscheduled emergency landing at Norwich Airport yesterday when a passenger was taken seriously ill. The Boeing 757 made the unscheduled stop after the man had collapsed shortly after the flight left Edinburgh Airport.
The plane landed in Norwich at around 16:30 in the afternoon and the man was taken off the plane by medical staff. He was placed in a waiting ambulance. He had a weak pulse and was in a ‘serious condition’. He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
