Airport car park upgrade

APT SkiData has replaced Edinburgh Airport’s car parking infrastructure, which is used to manage the parking of up to 4500 vehicles. The new system uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Radio Frequency ID (RFID) technologies to make parking faster and more efficient for passengers.
As part of the upgrade, APT has installed a number of new barriers, which will control the access in to and out of Edinburgh Airport’s 1500 short and business stay spaces and 3000 long stay car parking spaces. In addition 21 'Easy Cash' pay stations have been installed.
