New bigger duty free store opened

World Duty Free has opened its new store at Edinburgh Airport following the completion of BAA’s security area and departure lounge refurbishment. The 6942sq ft (645sq m) store replaces the previous shop, which spanned 4769sq ft (443sq m), and is located opposite the entrance to the departures lounge.
The new open-plan store, which has a 40m shop front, has allowed the retailer to introduce new brands and product categories not previously available at the airport including leather goods, jewellery from Pandora, Tom Ford fragrances, Chanel colour cosmetics and skin care from Sisley. Another feature of the store is the World of Whiskies shop-within-shop, featuring an extended premium whisky range and expert advice from specialist staff members.
