10.07.10
Ryanair has announced a new route between Edinburgh Airport and the Swedish city of Gothenburg. The new 3 times a week service will take off from 5 November, with flights on sale now.
A spokesman for the budget airline said: ‘We now offer 39 routes from Edinburgh to destinations across Europe, including France, Italy and Germany.’ Gordon Dewar, the soon to be leaving managing director of Edinburgh Airport, added: ‘Our ability to balance investing in our airport with a commercial approach with airline customers means that we can continue to attract routes from airlines such as Ryanair.’
