Passengers up on Wick route

The number of passengers using the direct flights between Wick and Edinburgh has risen by 20% compared to last year. Loganair is set to continue its six-day service throughout the winter months because of the increase in demand.
A spokesman for the airline said that it is delighted to continue providing a service that meets the needs of the area. He said: ‘This service ensures that the communities in Caithness remain well connected, as well as helping to sustain the area’s ongoing progress in becoming a centre for business development. We are pleased to confirm that it will continue into the winter season.’
