Flyglobespan to cut winter flights
01.08.08
Dozens of flights from Edinburgh Airport are set to be axed as a result of cuts by Flyglobespan, Scotland's largest independent carrier, according to press reports. The airline will make the cuts this winter because of the rising cost of fuel.
Flights to sunshine resorts will be the hardest hit. It was reported this morning that Flyglobespan has cancelled flights - including some that passengers have already paid for - to destinations including Barcelona, Nice, and winter sun resorts in Greece and Portugal.
