Airport expects record weekend

Edinburgh Airport is gearing up for a record weekend after Scotland's schools finishing for the summer. It is estimated that 130,000 passengers will pass through the airport this weekend.
Kevin Brown, managing director at the airport, said: ‘It’s great to be so busy and we are grateful that so many passengers are choosing our airport to travel from. We will be working hard to ensure that every passenger has a good experience on this busy period. We are up to the challenge and look forward to welcoming passengers this weekend.'
